Blogging Policy for Senate

“Employment policies prohibit pages from blogging about the Senate and the Senate Page Program. You may write about your experience once you have completed the program and are no longer an employee.”

New plan: Keep a journal during and blog about my adventures after the program. So for the time being this blog will not be focused on my Senate Page service.

  1. Awww, I was so looking forward to following you on your adventure. I will be looking forward to learning about it later. I am so excited for you to be able to do this. Good luck! I hope it is fun for you. What an opportunity! Congratulations! You worked very hard from what I hear to get this. Love, Aunt Sherry

  2. Yeah it was a definite process getting the nomination. Once I am no longer an employee (January 24th) I’ll do an extensive blog spree of my time there. I’m keeping a journal which I plan to write in regularly and this will be the structure for the future blog posts. Make sure to watch me on C-SPAN when the senates in session (50/50 chance I’ll be there, as half of the pages are working at a time). I’ll be sitting in the center of the chamber in front of the senators.
